This probe is 2 cM (LOD score = 14.96) from pD2 (DXS43), 3 cM (LOD score = 8.56) from 782 (DXS85) and 15 cM (LOD score = 6.05) from dic56 (DXS143). Codominant, X-linked segregation demonstrated in several large, 3-generation families. Low background with final wash in 0.1X SSC at 65C. Obtained from a recombinant lambda phage identified by a chromosome walk from pXUT23 (ATCC 57154/5). This is 22 kb from pXUT23. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: BamHI, BglII, HindiII, TaqI in a screen of 4 female Caucasians. |
