The 8.0 kb fragment is sufficent to express a thermostable DNA polymerase activity and a 60 kDa polypeptide immunologically related to Taq DNA polymerase in Escherichia coli. The 4.5 kb fragment is also available in pFC83, ATCC 67422. |
